For one week, participants in the Saanenwald programme above Saanenmöser, surrounded by the Gstaad mountains, embark on a journey into nature to restore inner balance, increase well-being and purify the mind and soul.
"It is obvious that many people have lost their connection to nature," says Nadine Gäschlin, one of the leaders of the Saanenwald course week. "People are driven by work and the desire to optimise themselves," says Gäschlin. "Our goal is to connect the inner nature with the outer nature during the Saanenwald week."
Through yoga classes, meditation and especially forest bathing, mindfulness is strengthened and energy is recharged. The message: If you want to live sustainability, you first have to be at peace with yourself.
Impact Gstaad was allowed to visit Saanenwald and gained insight into the fascinating world of natural healing power.
