Impact Gstaad

There they are now. Three giant building blocks, set up in the foyer of The Alpina Gstaad. Spotlights bathe the oversized dominoes in a warm light. They greeted the guests of the Impact Circle Event for the first time last Tuesday and triggered admiration with their sheer size. "Each of these two-metre-high stones weighs around 50 kilograms," says Hannes Marmet, managing director of the carpentry firm von Allmen Chaletbau. Marmet and his team designed and created the dominoes within a few days at the request of Impact Gstaad - free of charge! "We are convinced of the Impact Gstaad project and are happy to help with the construction," says Marmet. "We are pleased to be part of the sustainability initiative with our sponsorship." In collaboration with Malerei Schwenter in Schönried, the wooden logo blocks were finally given their bright colours.
