Together for a sustainable future
An engaged buzz of voices filled the air as investors, politicians, scientists and other interested changemakers gathered for Impact Gstaad's latest Impact Circle event. The exclusive event provided an opportunity for more than 100 sustainability visionaries to network and discuss innovative green building solutions.
Carpentry as venue spurs innovation
In the carpentry workshop of Bach & Perreten Holzbau AG, participants discussed how the construction industry of the future can be made sustainable in the inspiring atmosphere of sawdust, the scent of unprocessed wood and impressive woodworking machines. In addition to lectures, inputs and discussion rounds, the main focus was on personal exchange and exclusive networking.
"It was incredible to see such a diverse group come together in this unique setting to talk about building a greener future," said Manuel Linder, Impact Gstaad board chair. "The energy and engagement of our community spurs us to continue organizing collaborative events like this to make a measurable impact."
Impact Gstaad aims to make a measurable impact on the sustainability strategy of the Gstaad destination through its projects, and as an ambitious impact investing hub, to bring together influential locals and guests with sustainability visionaries.
