Young Impact Gstaad
What is Young Impact?
Young Impact is a cross-institutional educational project on the topic of sustainability that facilitates and promotes exchange between private and public schools in the Saanenland (Le Rosey, John F. Kennedy International School, public schools).
The following objectives are pursued:
Networking
Young Impact offers a platform for exchange between public and private institutions. The project promotes networking between students and teachers.
Sustainability
Young people are made aware of the issue of sustainability and information is provided on specific topics.
Realize
The young people become active themselves and implement sustainability campaigns as part of “Doing Days”.
Young Impact Day
Every year, a Young Impact Event takes place in which interested students can participate.
Workshops are held on a specific focus topic. In groups, the students deepen their knowledge of specific topics, exchange ideas and get to know each other.
- 1 focus topic (e.g. biodiversity, energy, etc.)
- Presentations and interactive workshops by and with experts, start-ups, organizations, etc.
- Language: English
- Age group: 6th-10th grade
- A total of approx. 120 students can take part
