Impact Report 2025/26
Since 2021, Impact Gstaad has acted as a regional sustainability platform in the Saanenland and brings together municipalities, the hospitality industry, agriculture, trade, schools and international guests to discuss how this region can develop responsibly.
We are strengthening this dialog with the first edition of our Impact Report. From now on, this publication will provide our Impact Circle members and the general public with an annual overview of what we are doing, what we have achieved and where we are going. The first edition covers the period from January 2025 to March 2026.
Zukunftswald Saanenland - Planting the mountain forest of tomorrow
Our forest is both a habitat and protection. With the “Forest of the Future” project, we are making targeted investments in the climate resilience of our region and have already analyzed over 100 hectares of forest area in order to secure valuable ecological cycles and local value creation for the future.
Impact Circle Events - Where vision meets action
At our flagship events, we bring international thought leaders together with local decision-makers. Whether in discussions about sustainable construction in the Alpine region or in exchanges about corporate responsibility – we create the platform on which inspiration is turned into concrete projects for the Saanenland.
Young Impact - Focus on the next generation
Sustainability begins in the minds of young people. With our “Young Impact Days”, we sensitize hundreds of schoolchildren every year to topics such as mindfulness in the digital space or the circular economy in order to actively involve them in shaping their own future.
Green Business Award - Giving innovations a stage
In cooperation with Green Business Switzerland, we honor companies that combine economy and ecology in a pioneering way. Winners such as New Roots or Oxyle impressively demonstrate how Swiss innovative strength can solve global environmental problems. The award ceremony takes place at the Impact Circle event in February.
A strong network - building bridges between tradition and modernity
Impact Gstaad sees itself as a link: We connect locals, second home residents, authorities and the economy. Together we strengthen the social fabric and ensure that the Saanenland remains a liveable area with a high quality of life for generations to come.
