E-bikes for alpine tranquillity

Local partnership enables sustainable mobility for the Alpenruhe Foundation
Impact Gstaad and the Bernese e-bike manufacturer Stromer are providing the Alpenruhe Foundation with two S-Pedelec bikes for the exclusive use of its employees. The initiative is part of a new partnership between Impact Gstaad and myStromer AG.
“With this collaboration, we are combining social commitment with sustainable mobility,” explains Michel Hediger, project manager at Impact Gstaad. “The Stromer bikes enable employees to reduce car journeys and at the same time integrate more exercise into their everyday lives. We are convinced that we are meeting a major social need with practical solutions like this.”
Sustainable alternative
Christoph Lindlein, Chief Marketing Officer at Stromer, sees particular potential in the alpine region: “E-bikes can be a valuable alternative to cars and public transport, especially in the Saanenland, where the routes are often steep and longer. They enable stress-free mobility and exercise in the fresh air at the same time.”

Regional cooperation
For Alpenruhe, the project represents a further step in its sustainability strategy. “This cooperation is an example of how social institutions and companies can make a contribution together,” emphasizes foundation director Markus Kindler. “At the same time, it strengthens regional cooperation.”
The two e-bikes have been available to employees at Alpenruhe since this fall.
